™ Air Integrated Dive Computer User Manual WARNING Use of the “Silence Alarms” is intended for exceptional circumstances. Ignoring an alarm you have chosen to set means you are exceeding the limits of your dive plan and putting yourself at a very serious risk. 4. AI Mode This menu allows you to switch between different Air Integration Modes - Off, Solo, Buddy, Group 4 and Group 9 Modes – underwater: The Mode you choose will affect the layout of your dive screen once you exit the Air Integration menu: Solo Mode Buddy Mode Group 4 Mode Group 9 Mode It is important to note that while your selection will change the screen layout, it will only display data from the tank transmitters you have set up in the surface “Air Integration” menu. For example, if you only configured your own tank transmitter (turned it “On”, configured the serial number) then you will only have information under the “You” field. All other fields will show “Off” in blue font. You can see an example in the Group 9 picture – only your tank transmitter and the tank transmitters of the first four students have been configured and turned “On” at the surface, while the tank transmitters of Students 5-9 were left “Off”. Also, it is important to note that the “You” tank transmitter, if turned “On”, will show up in ALL the modes (Solo, Buddy, Group 4, Group 9), but the “Buddy” tank transmitter will only show up in “Buddy” mode. The “Buddy” tank transmitter doesn’t become “Student 1” in Group 4 or Group 9 mode, which is a common confusion. “Student 1” is a totally separate setting. If you want “Student 1” to be the same as “Buddy”, you can do so by setting up “Student 1” tank transmitter information to be the same as your Buddy’s. You can get more information on Air Integration in the description of the surface Air Integration menu, as well as in Diving With Your Lynx – Air Integration Functions.
