MISCELLANEOUS
Use Smart Rendering for PLST:
Select this option to only transcode content that must be rendered in a PLST
sequence. See the CleanEdit User’s Manual for information about Smart
Rendering.
Serial Number:
This is the serial number associated with the generation of an EVS MXF file. The
value must be in the range between 10 and 163330 and a multiple of 10 to be
compliant with EVS Multicam.
The Serial Number on each EVS software which is on the same computer must be
the same.
Overwrite Output File:
Select this option to overwrite the output file if it already exists. If this option is
not selected, MediaXchange will automatically rename the output file to have a
different name than the existing file. Actually MediaXchange add “ (1)” ,” (2)” , etc at
the end of the file.
Transcode Live Feed:
Select this option to start the wrapping/encoding process while the EVS MXF
source file is being recorded. This option does not work with Quick Time File
wrapping. If you use it anyway with the wrapping of Quick Time file,
MediaXchange will wait for the end of the writing of the Quick Time file before
doing its wrapping job.
Encoded Audios:
Limit the number of audio channels in the output file depending on the wrapper
format.
Example: Your original clip has 8 audios and you have selected 2 channels in the
Encoded Audios field. The output transcoded file will have only 2 audios if the
output wrapper format supports 2 audios (like QT). However, if the wrapper
supports only 0, 4, 8 audios like EVS MXF, the output file will have 4 audios but
