If the Reporting check box in the Preferences dialog box is activated, an information box shows the
number of spurious contours that were found and removed.
Tip:
To apply this function only to a certain area of the job, select that area in blue.
Note:
As spurious contours are in general very small elements, the removing action can be hardly visible
or not at all.
Tip:
When you want to look for spurious contours in your job and zoom in on them, use Select by Attribute.
8.13.3 Remove Double Contours (PSFix menu)
To remove double contours by recombining the fill and stroke attribute of 2 identical objects into
one object again.
Double contours are created when generating PostScript files, where an object with a fill and a stroke
attribute is split into two objects with each one attribute.
Choose Remove Double Contours from the PSFix menu to start the application of the function to
your job.
When Reporting is activated in the PSFix Preferences dialog box, the system displays an information
box with the number of double contours that were found and removed.
Attention:
The system will not recognize double contours, if functions of the Contours menu have been
performed on these double contours before executing Remove Double Contours.
Tip:
To apply this function only in a certain area of the job, select that area in blue.
8.13.4 Clips... (PSFix menu)
