Adding a Company 1. From the Company Select window, click Add. You will be asked to enter a short name for the company, which may be up to 8 characters. DO NOT use Wild Card Characters (e.g. #$%&*@). • 2. Click OK to create the company. The Company Edit window will appear as shown below. After the information is filled in, the Save and Cancel buttons will be lit. Fill out required information. Under Taxation information setup Pension number (for Registered pension plan only) and WCB rate if applicable. Taxation By default, one RCT Group will be set up for Number you called Standard, with the employer rate of 1.4. This rate may be changed if needed. If you have a second or third remittance number for EI at a reduced rate, enter the description, RCT and Employer EI Rate in the second and third rows provided. 1 2 Click Save to save the information. Click Close to exit the window.
