Deliverable D 4.1.2
The AIM system to work properly needs the creation of a group of motes for each room of the house,
composed by the sensors previously located in that room. This allows the system to know which
sensors are located in every room.

To add a new group it is necessary to click on the “Add Group” button and to choose the group type
and name, as shown in the next figure.

Elements can be added to a group with the “Add Element” button. When the last element has been
added, clicking the “Create Group” button the system sends information for group creation to the
motes.
This graphic interface provides also details about the status of the sensor network, in particular when a
node is selected it shows the topology information (mote ID, address, parent node, sensors list and AS
list).
Finally when a group is selected it is possible to see some group information, among which nodes
belong to the group, they are highlighted by orange rings.
