Setting the Terminal into Service

Service Introduction

On initial service introduction, or after a power break, regardless of the
position of the mode selection keyswitch, the following display sequence is
shown by the terminal:

XBT Display
Comments
0=SERIE7 1=UNITE
Depending on the selected protocol:
• SERIE7 when using the programming port.
• UNITE when connected to a
TSX SCM 21 module.
AX
• Enter the axis number.
NO=??
Displays the status of the selected
axis.

It may be necessary to select the XBT Configuration mode:
To modify the stored language,
● To modify the characteristics of the currently selected data line.
●
To do this, set the mode selection key to Configuration.
The diagram on the opposite page describes the characteristics selection
procedure:
Selection of the message display language,
Modification of the communication protocol,
