Currently, scripting is the only method to select a production code for a location, but this will be enhanced
when the traceability module is released.

Scripts
Scripts can also be used to directly select and cancel recipes for production items. These scripts
supports selecting and cancelling recipes from external triggers such as when a button is clicked or when
a product code changes.
See setItemRecipe script function to select a recipe for a production item and cancelItemRecipe script
function to cancel the current recipe for a production item for more details.
4.1.12 Production OPC Server
Production OPC Values
The production model is defined in the Ignition designer and contains your production lines, cells, cell
groups and locations. Runtime access into configuration and current state of the production model is
available through the Production OPC Server. It is added automatically when any of the Ignition MES
modules are installed. When the production items are added, removed or modified, the changes will be
reflected in the Production OPC Server when the project is saved and published in the designer.
