The GenBank export file format allows you to preserve the features marked in
GCK construct files and can be shared with colleagues who may not have
access to GCK.
Please note that the LOCUS line 'name' (which is derived from the construct
title of your GCK file) is limited by GenBank to 16 characters. If your GCK file
name is longer than 16 characters, it will be truncated in the LOCUS line of
the exported text file. The DEFINITION and ACCESSION fields however, will
retain the full file name.
This concludes the tutorial. Close the G_gamma globin file, but do not save
any changes you may have made so that others may work with this sample
file in the future.
