Creating a New User Account 1 To create a new user account, rst make sure you are logged in as root. If you are not, click on the logout button, as described in the previous section. Then, log in as root. Caution 2 3 root status entails special privileges and dangers. You should only log in as root to do system administration tasks. Activate the Help System by moving the pointer to the Help screen button on the Workspace Manager panel (on the bottom, marked with a ? ). Then click the left mouse button once.
