CREATING AND OPTIMIZING PROFILES 164 Profile Connector You can use Profile Connector to connect a base linearization file to a media profile or to a device link profile. Furthermore, Profile Connector enables you to make quick changes to an existing base linearization file. For example: • You can incorporate a screening file that was created in Dot Creator for v2 screening. • You can change the print direction. • You can change the total ink limit. • You can correct inconsistencies in the length of printed jobs. TO CONNECT A BASE LINEARIZATION FILE TO A MEDIA PROFILE OR TO A DEVICE LINK PROFILE 1 Start Color Tools, and click Profile Connector.
