The Select Controller combo boxes allow (from top to bottom):
•
Selection of controller type
•
Controller address/Card number
•
Serial port selection for scanning
according to the controller type.
The Serial Port Selection is used to optimize the select controller dialog during serial port scanning.
The options are:
•
Scan Serial Ports
•
Do Not scan Serial Ports
•
Only scan COMx (where x is an available serial port)
The Terminal Only button should only be used for diagnostics/debugging.
The Terminal Only button displays:
