Connect the USB cable B connector (square) to the USB port on the
back of the printer, then connect the USB cable A connector (flat) to a
USB port on the Macintosh.
Ensure that the connector is inserted completely.

If the Macintosh is switched on, switch it off.
If the printer is on, hold down the Power button for over 2 seconds
and release it when the Online lamp starts to flash.
