This connector is a 40-pin, 0.8mm pitch connector (Hirose P/N FX6A-40P-0.8SV91), and is mounted on the back side of the Pandaboard ES PCB. See Figure 10 below for the orientation/pin numbering of this connector as viewed from the back side of the PCB.
