SYSDIAG OVERRIDE mode on an SCADAPack E RTU overrides the RTU port configured as Cmd Line
such that the RTU by default enters the diagnostic display session, rather than entering the command
line interpreter. It is handy to use this override mode when it is required to view RTU start-up diagnostics,
or if it is required that an RTU remain in diagnostic output mode after start-up rather than exiting
diagnostic output mode and entering command line mode. For more information see Section System
Diagnostic Command 103 .
PPP-TCP/IP Ports
Any SCADAPack E port may be configured as a PPP – TCP/IP port. Multiple PPP ports may be used
simultaneously on the same SCADAPack E RTU. For more information about configuring PPP ports,
see the SCADAPack E TCP/IP Technical Reference manual.
