COMMAND-LINE COMMANDS BAUD Set Communications Baud Rate BAUD The BAUD command changes the baud rate for communications between the system controller and the host computer. For best performance of your system, communications should be at the maximum available baud rate. Reduce this rate if the software displays communications error messages. Entering this command without a rate argument calls up the baud rate window. You can select a baud rate via this window. NOTE At power-up, MMDS11 software automatically sets the maximum baud rate for your system. If you reduce the baud rate but communication errors persist, you may need to turn off disk cache. Syntax: BAUD [<rate>] where: <rate> One of these decimal baud-rate values: 2400 4800 9600 19200 38400 57600 Example: >BAUD 9600 MMDS11OM/D Change the communications baud rate to 9600. 6-10 MOTOROLA
