Align the Boresight Collimator

Conditions: Perform this task given the following: DA Form 2407, DA Pam 738-750, Land Combat
Electronic Missile System Repairer with Guided Missile Maintenance Tool Kit, TS-3784/TAS boresight
collimator test set or AN/PAM-2, SU-93/TAS, SU-93A/TAS boresight collimator, TM 9-5855-286-14, TM 95855-1286-14, TM 9-5855-585-24.
Standards: Alignment procedures on the SU-93/TAS, SU-93A/TAS boresight collimator were performed
and safety precautions observed according to TM 9-5855-286-14 and 9-5855-1286-14. Tools were used
according to TM 9-243. Maintenance forms were completed according to DA Pam 738-750.

This alignment procedure includes both Boresight Collimator Test sets, however only
one is required to complete the individual task.

Evaluation Guidance: Score the soldier Go if all performance measures are passed. Score the soldier
no-go if any performance measure is failed. If the soldier fails any performance measure, show what was
done wrong and how to do it correctly.
