Multigrow User Guide Dosing Configuration Install Nutrient Dosing: This box must be ticked if nutrient dosing is to be used within the batch system. pH Dosing: This box must be tick if pH correction is to be done on the batch system. Dose Circ. Pump: Ticking this box will enable the use of a "Circulation Pump" to supply large volumes of nutrient/pH to the dosing valves. This will also enable an output expander address box to be configured. Stir Pump: Ticking this box will enable the use of a Stir Pump within a continuous system. This will also enable an output expander address box to be configured. Mode: Controls how the Nutrient and pH dosing valves work together in the system. If all the dosing valves are wired on to the same output expander it is possible for them to all turn on at the same time. This may cause a large inrush of current which the output expander might not be able to handle. • Simultaneous: Both the nutrient and pH dosing valves will act independently of each other. • Sequential: Nutrient and pH dosing valves cannot operate at the same time. Nutrient Dosing If the Nutrient dosing has been installed the option for added nutrient dosing valves will become available. Each irrigation system can support up to 10 different nutrient parts, except for a watering system where no dosing can be installed. Proportional Dosing: Proportional dosing means that the dose time for nutrient doses will change in relation to how far away from the target the current reading is.
