Multigrow User Guide
Name: A unique name should be given to each group in order to better identify it within the system this name has no effect on the control. Once a
group is added and name it will appear along the tab menu for groups under the name given. Note if the name field is left empty it will be identified
using the number of the group.
Enable: This box must be ticked if this group is going to be active. A group might have various triggers configured and needs to be disabled unticking
this box will stop the group from running without having to disable the trigger set up on the group.
Act. Count: How many times the group has been active today, this variable is reset at the end of day time.
Last Irrigation: The last time the group was irrigated. Note if the controller is reset all groups will have the same time until triggered. Also if a new
group is added the time will be set to the time it was activated.
Reason: The reason why the last irrigation happened, this is the trigger cause of the group. Even if the group is cancelled right away this will still be
updated. Note that if the system is reset all groups will have start up as the reason. If a group has start up as the reason it has not run since the last time
the controller was power cycled. This is also the default reason used when a group is created.
Group
By navigating to the name of the group on the groups tab menu each groups individual settings can be accessed.
Stations
The stations tab is where individual stations can be added to the group a manual action button are also located here as well as general information about
the group.
The Info. box contains all relevant information about the group and it's last irrigation.
Active: This variable is used to indicate if this group is currently being water by the system.
Next Est. Trigger: What is the next trigger the system estimates will be actioned on this group and at what time this will occur. If the group is only
using time out or time of day triggers this estimation is accurate, if periodic trigger based on solar, moisture, temperature are used these can only be
estimated as these variables may change in a non-uniform way.
Last Irrig.: The time of the last irrigation trigger for the group and the reason it happened.
Finished: The time the group finished it last watering.
Additional Information
Depending on how the irrigation went or configured triggers the information box can contain additional fields.
If the group has been configured to use pETo triggers the current volume of this will be displayed in the Info. box. Note that pETo triggers are
complicated and should not be used without a full understanding of the Evapotranspration model.
If the group was cancelled this reading will be displayed with the time this occurred, since a cancel is a user only event no reason will be given for this.
If a group was paused while it was watering the time at which this happened will be displayed in the Info. box.
