Chapter 5 – Capture Step Configuration Configuring Manual OCR Indexing When you enable manual OCR indexing, the operator can apply OCR zones on an image to populate required index values. During configuration, it is only required to draw one OCR zone to define the applicable properties. Similar to the automated OCR step, you can test the zone to ensure text can be read successfully prior to activating and checking in the job. To configure manual OCR indexing in the Capture or Indexing step: 1. Expand the Manual Barcode/OCR Indexing node in the Properties grid, and the Manual Barcode/OCR Indexing properties appear.
