For BNS-2000 nodes, the SMDS Guide describes how to install, configure, and operate the interfaces for nodes using SMDS. For SMDS, the Access Interface Module Reference is also needed. For BNS-2000 and BNS-2000 VCS nodes, the Session Maintenance Guide describes automatic alternate routing and provides instructions on how to configure the node for this feature.
