Routing Window Retransmit Prunes The default behavior (Default) of multicast routing is to retransmit prune messages on all point-to-point interfaces (including tunnels) but not on multi-access interfaces. On causes the retransmission of prunes on all interfaces. O f f disables the retransmission of prunes. Unspecified indicates that this option is not defined in the configuration file and the default behavior will be used. Used on the VIF options page, Retransmit Prunes is applicable to this tunnel only. See also the mrouted(8) system manual page. Multicast Routes - DVMRP Tunnels, Boundaries Page 6 Use this page of the Routing window to restrict the scope of a broadcast. Boundary statements are an effective way to manage multicast domains by preventing multicast traffic from traversing external links. Figure II-39.
